This line is oriented to research in power electronic converters, digital control systems and electromagnetic modeling for biomedical electrosurgical applications, aimed at local tumor treatment (by electroporation, radio frequency, etc.) and at the disinfection of joint prostheses (by induction heating). Multidisciplinary collaborations have been established with other biomedical groups.
Publicly funded research projects are carried out, and also privately funded with companies (Angiodynamics, VoltMed, etc.).
