In this research line, the aim is to study more deeply how lung fibrosis can alter the biomechanical functioning of the lung, as well as to understand the mechano-chemical mechanisms that can induce the appearance of this pathology. To this end, a multi-scale approach will be established to simulate from the organ (lung) and the alveoli (microstructure) to the cellular level.
