Communication Networks and Information Technologies

The purpose of the project is the analysis and modeling of the different critical services to be provided and integrated into the railway system.

The purpose of the project is a study and detailed analysis of the confidentiality, integrity and authenticity requirements of the critical and non-critical services to be provided and integrated into the urban rail system and to carry out a study of the state of the art of how they are currently being addressed. .

The objective of the project is the design of efficient mechanisms for (re) configuration, and / or autonomous optimization or with minimal supervision of network deployments in the event of failure, congestion and changes in service needs and network capacity of the operators .

This project seeks new transmission technologies that significantly improve the energy efficiency of the systems used in the most advanced mobile communications networks, both public and public safety and emergency services.

Advanced methodologies for performance evaluation and QoX in telematic networks and services

The purpose of the project is the study, proposal and analysis of configuration alternatives and optimization of LTE-based deployments, taking into account the requirements of critical and non-critical services to be integrated into the urban railway control system.

Its objectives include the development of a software architecture based on microservices that provides a robust and secure support to the management of information and that allows to assess, through data mining techniques, the personalized evolution of the disease, and the implementation of a pilot where all the concepts and techniques developed can be validated in a real environment.

The objective of the project is the development of systems based on the use of the mobile communications standard such as LTE (Long Term Evolution), assuming the bandwidths available to professional service operators in the spectrum awarded for mission-critical applications.

The LVAP project (Light Virtual Access Points, or Light Virtual Access Points) has investigated a solution to avoid some of the problems that appear in our home WiFi networks.
