The objective of this project is, on the one hand, to extract affective information automatically from multimedia data from traditional communication media, but also from massive and heterogeneous social networks.
On the other hand, research is being carried out on efficient methods to manage and integrate these new sources of information in multimedia analysis systems and provide effective ways of including affective aspects in natural and inclusive systems of human-machine interaction.
