This line is oriented to research in high-efficiency power electronic converters, digital control systems, electromagnetic modeling and EMC design. Induction-heating home-appliance systems and consumer electrical appliances are considered as preferred references and development applications. There are also other applications or extensions of this line, such as induction-heating systems for biomedical applications, in relation to another research line of the group.
Publicly funded research projects are carried out, and also privately funded with companies (mainly with BSH Home Appliances Group).
