Synthesis and optimization of carbon neutral trigeneration systems based on solar thermal energy and biomass with thermal storage support
The main objective of this project is to study the promising integration of novel solar thermal collectors (Parabolic Trough Collectors, Compound Parabolic Collectors, PolyTrough, Linear Fresnel Reflectors or Vacuum tubes), biomass boilers, ORC, heat pumps (absorption and mechanical) and TES (latent and sensitive), to propose decarbonized trigeneration systems for the supply of electricity, heat and cold, which are economically acceptable, and applied to the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
