Convocatoria Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE-JU) 2024

Estimados investigadores e investigadoras,

desde Campus Iberus nos informan tanto de esta convocatoria como de las acciones y noticias que se han lanzado desde el consorcio BIC (Bio-based Industries Consortium), del que forma parte Campus Iberus.

1. Abierta la Convocatoria 2024 de CBE JU

La Convocatoria 2024 de la iniciativa Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE-JU) se encuentra abierta. Cuenta con 18 topics (5 RIA, 7 IA, 3 IA-flagship y 3 CSA) con un presupuesto total de 213 M€. La convocatoria cerrará el 18 de septiembre de 2024. En el  Programa de Trabajo Anual 2024 se puede encontrar el texto completo de los topics, las condiciones de participación y los requisitos específicos de CBE que deben abordarse en las propuestas. 2. 📆GBS2024 to be held in Kenya. Save the date
The Global Bioeconomy Summit 2024 (GBS2024) will be held in Nairobi, Kenya on 23-24 October. It will be hosted by three East African partners. The overall theme of GBS2024 will be “One Planet - Sustainable Bioeconomy Solutions for Global Challenges”. Pre-registration is now open. The event is also looking for sponsors. 3. 📆BIC member discount for NWBC 2024. Save the date

The 11th Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference (NWBC) is offering BIC members a discounted conference fee. NWBC is a biannual conference, hosted between RISE and VTT, the technical research centre of Finland. It focuses on wood biorefinery and is a meeting point for industry, SMEs, universities, and research institutes to listen in on the latest research and innovations within in bio-based materials, bio-chemicals, and products from wood biorefineries. 

4. 📆Sustainable Industry Week. Save the date

The Sustainable Materials & Chemicals Conference & Expo is the largest free-to-attend event for renewable and circular materials and chemicals industry. Held as part of Sustainable Industry Week (13-14 November, Cologne), it provides visitors with the perfect opportunity to source new solutions across the entire supply chain to meet the growing demand for sustainable and circular products. 5. 🗓️BIC Networking Event for Industry Member. Save the date

We are hosting an exclusive networking event for BIC Industry Members only at the Sheraton Brussels Airport hotel on 2 October 2024 from 13:00 onwards. The event includes guest speakers, cocktails, a walking dinner and the opportunity to meet a wide range of fellow BIC Industry Members, which we hope will lead to fruitful connections and collaboration. 6. 🗓️BIC Matchmaking event 2025. Save the date 

The next BIC Matchmaking Event will take place at the Sheraton Brussels Airport hotel in Brussels on Wednesday 12 February 2025. Please save the date. On Tuesday 11 February, also at the Sheraton Brussels Airport hotel, there will be meetings of the Programming Working Group and the Public Affairs Working Group. There will a dinner for BIC Industry Members only at the hotel on the evening of 11 February. More details of all events will follow shortly.
