The CISM course on "Bone Cell and Tissue Mechanics" that will be held in Udine (Italy) during September 6 - 10 in 2021.
The course will be held in a hybrid format. This implies it will be possible to attend the course on-site in Udine or on-line. The on-site capacity, however, is limited and we can only accommodate a few more students. So if you or your students would like to attend on-site please make sure to register as soon as possible. It is also still possible to move from an on-line to on-site participation (or the other way around). More information can be found here: https://www.cism.it/en/news/2021-advanced-courses-how-participate/
The course should be of interest to graduate students, PhD candidates, post-doctoral fellows and young faculty members in the field of, e.g., bone: biomechanics, cell biology, tissue engineering and systems biology.
The course has a long history (since 1987) and many of the former students now are active bone researchers. And being a summer school, there will be plenty of time to interact with the teachers, as well as for other activities in the nice little town of Udine. Note that CISM is a non-profit organization, and that Udine offers reasonably priced accommodation.
A summary of the topics and teachers can be found below. More information about the program and registration can be found at: https://www.cism.it/en/activities/courses/C2115/
