Modeling, simulation and design of thermal equipment and buildings

Mathematical modeling of the basic phenomena of heat transport and generation to simulate the operation of thermal equipment and processes. The main working tool is the coding of the models, either directly or with CFD programs on the market such as Ansys-Fluent. In the case of the analysis of the thermal behavior of buildings, both TRNSYS and Design Builder are used to propose constructive solutions and energy systems suitable for the objectives of the ECCN. The field of application is any equipment susceptible to thermal modeling (boilers, domestic and industrial furnaces, heat exchangers, electronic refrigeration and others).
