The ultimate goal of this line of research is to design hardware cryptosystems suitable for implementation in sensor interface circuits, quantum computing readouts or millimetre-band communication front-ends. Within the cryptosystem, several cryptographic primitives are studied: encryption algorithms based on chaotic maps and key generators and authentication systems based on physical unclonable functions.
