Energy and CO2
División
Responsable
The main objective of the ECO2 group's research activity is to contribute to the decarbonisation of the energy and industrial sectors through:
- the use of renewable energies and thermo-chemical energy storage systems and,
- the improvement of CO2 reduction, capture, transport, storage and utilisation processes in those applications where renewable generation is currently not possible.
The group has a multidisciplinary character and its members belong to the areas of Machines and Thermal Engines and Mechanical Engineering at the EINA and Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences.
