VPHi Elections of the Board of Trustees: the call for candidates is now open

Dear VPHi members,

The mandate of the current members of the Board of Trustees will expire soon. All members in good standing are welcome to present a candidate for the upcoming elections.

The Board of Trustees is composed by the President, and the two Financial Auditors, whose role is to supervise the operations of the Board of Directors, ensuring that such operations do not get into conflict with the interests of the membership at large and does not violate the common law, the legal provisions and the provisions in the articles of association. The mandate of the Board of Trustees is two years and it can be renewed for one additional term, for a total of four years. Further information on the duties of the BoT can be found in our statute, in particular art 5.3, 5.4, 5.6: http://www.vph-institute.org/download/vphinst_statute_v7c.pdf

The election process officially opens today with the call for nomination.

Call for nomination:

Every personal member/every delegate representing an institutional member of the VPH Institute (in good standing) will have the possibility to present a candidate for the election. To respond to the call, send to the VPHi Manager (manager@vph-institute.org) the following information:

    Your name and in case the name of the VPHi institutional member you represent
    Name of the candidate (only for institutional members - please note that you can only appoint a candidate from your organisation)
    Position you wish to send the candidature for: either President or Financial Auditor
    Short CV (200 words)
    Photo
    Deadline: 1 Nov 2021

Elections:

The elections will be done during the upcoming GA meeting on 5 Nov 2021 from 10 to 13 CET. The meeting will be done in teleconference (if you're interested to attend please send an email to: manager@vph-institute.org). Each member will hold one vote.

Official announcement:

The General Assembly will officially announce the results on the elections, and the BoT will take charge.
