1. MSCA Doctoral Networks (equivalentes a las Initial Training Networks (ITN) en H2020)

The MSCA Doctoral Networks aim to train creative, entrepreneurial, innovative and resilient doctoral candidates, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit.

Partnerships of universities, research institutions and research infrastructures, businesses including SMEs, and other socio-economic actors

The overall EU contribution for MSCA Doctoral Networks actions is limited to a maximum of 360 person-months (se permite contratar a 10 estudiantes como máximo, frente a los 15 que se podían contratar como máximo en H2020).

Resubmission restrictions applying as of 2022 for applications receiving a score below 80% (NOVEDAD)

Tentative dates for 2021 call: Opening: 04 May 2021 -  Deadline: 16 Nov 2021

2. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (equivalentes a las Individual Fellowships (IF) en H2020)

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.

Two types of action: European Fellowships (12 to 24 months), Global Fellowships (12 to 24 outgoing phase + 12 months return phase). If requested and justified in the proposal, an additional period of up to six months can be awarded to researchers who will spend that period in a non-academic organisation established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country.

At the call deadline, supported researchers must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date that the researcher was in a possession of a doctoral degree and certified by appropriate documents. (NOVEDAD)

Resubmission restriction applying to proposals rated below 70% in previous Horizon Europe Calls (NOVEDAD)

Tentative dates for 2021 call: Opening : 15 April 2021, Deadline : 15 Sep 2021

3. MSCA Staff Exchanges (equivalentes a las Research and Innovation Staff Exchange Evaluations (RISE) en H2020)

MSCA Staff Exchanges promote innovative international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration in research and innovation through exchanging staff and sharing knowledge and ideas at all stages of the innovation chain.

Partnerships of universities, research institutions and infrastructures, businesses including SMEs and other socio-economic actors

Tentative dates for 2021 call: Opening: 07 Oct 2021, Deadline: 9 March 2022

4. MSCA COFUND

MSCA COFUND co-finances new or existing doctoral programmes and postdoctoral fellowship schemes with the aim of spreading the best practices of the MSCA including international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary research training, as well as transnational and cross-sectoral mobility of researchers at all stages of their career.

COFUND takes the form of: A) Doctoral programmes, B) Postdoctoral Programmes

Tentative dates for 2021 call: Opening:11 Oct 2021,  Deadline: 10 Feb 2022

Its objectives will be pursued through the organisation of the European Researchers’ Night.
