Tissue Engineering and Mechanobiology of bone regeneration and remodelling

The M2BE group has worked on the multi-scale analysis of the mechanobiological behaviour of scaffolds for the regeneration of bone tissue, analysing the problem at a macroscopic level and at the level of the scaffold pores where the cells interact with the materials. The aim is to advance in the knowledge of how mechanical conditions (stimulus and flow) contribute to cell regulation and the creation of bone matrix
